International Spy Museum

Today we left the National Harbor and crossed the river to old town Alexandria where we will stay for the next three days. We dropped our bags off at our hotel and headed for DC. Our destination, the International Spy Museum. This was the one place that Dustin really wanted to go while we were here. I was skeptical that it would be (for lack of a better word) lame, but was pleasantly surprised. When we arrived we participated in a hour long interactive spy mission. We were spies in Kandar trying to obtain a nuclear trigger before it got into the wrong hands. We got to use a listening post, surveillance cameras, and ransack the office where we suspected the trigger was. When we successfully finished the mission we took a look around the museum. It is really well put together and walks you through how to be a spy, the equipment spies have used over the centuries, and the history of spying. We did learn that DC has more spies than any other city in the world. I will keep my eyes peeled.
